> LIU Lit Mo Overseas Student Scholarships

Eligibility

• An overseas student who wishes to pursue an undergraduate programme at Lingnan University from September 2008 on a full-time basis leading to an honours degree may apply for the scholarship.
• Students who have completed or are studying for a curriculum relevant to the programme(s) for which they are applying for may apply for credit transfer. In Hong Kong, students follow a 7-year secondary education system and then a bachelor’s degree which normally requires three years of academic study.
• Students who have satisfactorily completed the 1st or 2nd year of a 4-year undergraduate curriculum may be admitted to the 1st or 2nd year of a Lingnan programme.
• Students may be required to gain a minimum of Grade C in English in the GCE O-Level or GCSE Examination or an equivalent public examination; or a TOEFL score of 213 in the computer-based test, or 550 in the paper-based test, or 79 in the internet-based test; or an IELTS overall band score of 5.5.

 

Note: The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Contemporary English and Education, which is a 4-year programme offered jointly by Lingnan University and the Hong Kong Institute of Education, is not applicable to applicants for the scholarship.
