Advisory Board Members for Research Centres / Institutes / Programmes

* APIAS's Advisory Board
The advisory board was established to provide advice and guidance to the Institute on the strategic development of the Institute. Its terms of reference and membership are as follows,

* Proposed Terms of reference:
1) to provide support and advice to APIAS with regard to research directions and other development.
2) to review the annual planning and reports of the Institute.
3) to provide professional expertise for specific research projects and activities of the Institute.

* Membership:
Members to be appointed by the Director of the APIAS, with the endorsement of the Management Board. Term of appointment is for 3 years and is renewable upon completion. Local advisors will be invited to meet annually, while overseas advisors will maintain contract via email and in person when the opportunity arises.

Chairman:
Academic Dean, Humanities and Social Sciences Chair Professor of Social Policy

Members:
Local academics and professionals in Gerontology and related fields.
Director of the Institute; President of Lingnan University
Overseas academics and professionals

Secretary:
To be appointed by Chairman on the recommendation of the Director of APIAS
