 Research on Hidden Elderly Service - Press Conference

Highlight:

The press conference was successfully launched and attacted many interested parties to come and share their views on the issue of Hidden Elderly in Hong Kong.

Prof. Chan presented the findings and corresponding analysis regarding the conditions, characteristics and services provided for the Hidden Elderly, while Mr. Shum revealed the protocol and mechanism of Hidden Elderly service in HKSKH and how this aids the case in Hong Kong.

They also specifically indicated some forward actions, what and how the government and community should undertake for the issue.

To provide the audience with an actual and profound picture of the issue, two elder volunteers participated in the searching of Hidden Elderly have given a sharing session to describe the process and feeling. They were also the typical models for showing elder empowerment, which mutually benefits the elders themselves and the elders they served.
