It is the policy of the College to admit suitable applicants to the College programmes. Applicants will be considered on the basis of academic qualifications, public examination results, the relevance of their chosen subjects, their special interests / qualities / working experience and other relevant factors. Applicants shall not be discriminated against on the basis of sex, age, race, religion, ethnic origin or physical disability.

Associate Degree (AD) Programmes / Higher Diploma (HD) Programmes
  • Level 2 in five HKDSE subjects including English and Chinese. Each applicant is allowed to use not more than two Applied Learning subjects which shall be at the level of "Attained" or above to meet the HKDSE subject Level 2 requirement; or
  • 3 passes in the HKCEE, and Level 2/Grade E or above in Chinese Language & English Language# ; plus a pass in 1 AL subject or 2 AS-level subjects in the HKALE; or
  • A recognised Pre-Associate Degree or post-secondary Diploma qualification; or
  • Being 23 years of age or above on 1st September in the year when admission is sought;
  • Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by the College.

Diploma (DIP) Programmes
  • A combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of 2 Level 2 and 3 Level 1 (including Chinese Language & English Language in which one should be in Level 2.) Each applicant is allowed to use not more than two Applied Learning subjects which shall be at the level of "Attained" or above to meet the HKDSE subject Level 2 requirement; or
  • 3 passes in the HKCEE, and Level 2/Grade E or above in Chinese Language & English Language#; or
  • Satisfactory completion of Project Yi Jin; or
  • Being 21 years of age or above on 1st September in the year when admission is sought; or
  • Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by the College.

Admission of Non-local and International Students
Satisfactory completion of studies at a recognised secondary or post-secondary institution outside Hong Kong with qualifications equivalent to our entry requirements.


#Applicants taking HKCEE English Language in 2006 or before should attain Grade E or above (Syllabus B) / Grade C or above (Syllabus A)
