Student Affairs Office
The Student Affairs Office (SAO)
aims to provide a student service platform for students to obtain various
student information. A wide-range of co-curricular programmes and activities
will be organized and arranged by SAO throughout the whole academic year, for
example, articulation seminars, personal development and community voluntary
services, social, career and recruitment programmes, etc. SAO is dedicated to
foster and nurture students to develop their strengths and potentials and thus
enhance their whole-personal growth and self-confidence.
Counselling Services
Our
Counsellors are ready to help students adapt to the new study environment.
Through individual and group activities, students can acquire and develop a
variety of life skills such as study skills, teamwork, leadership, stress
management and career planning. Students will have the opportunity to gain
better self-understanding, identify and develop their potentials as well.

Career Counselling Service
The
College organizes various kinds of career and recruitment programmes which
facilitate student to plan their future and achieve their career goals. There
are different seminars and talks to meet the career needs of the students such
as meeting with potential employers, workshop on interview skills, etc, to
enhance students’ employability. Students can also have access to latest job
vacancies information on full-time, part-time and summer jobs via the College
email account.
College Orientation Programmes (COP)
To let
students enjoy the fruitful campus life experience, a series of College
Orientation Programmes (COP) will be arranged for all new students in the first
month from their class commencement. They include the College Orientation Day
(COD), campus tours, workshops, sharing sessions, welcoming parties and various
seminars on college life.
The College Orientation Day (COD)
is a whole-day orientation programme which includes an official welcome by the
senior management of the College, academic talks by Heads of Programmes,
information sessions on student and support services, a taste of campus life
including small group activities, library tours and sharing sessions delivered
by Peer Mentors (senior students).

Peer Mentor
Scheme
The Peer Mentor
Scheme is an activity with a two-folded aim to provide a platform for developing
senior students’ leadership skills and to assist new students to adapt to the
new College life. The activity will help to develop a supportive social network
among the new students and Peer Mentors (senior students). Throughout the
Scheme, while new students can learn from their Peer Mentors on how to study and
experience the College life, the Peer Mentors can learn to be a big
brother/sister to provide academic guidance and social support for their
mentees.

Ambassador Scheme
The Student
Ambassador Scheme aims to help students explore and enhance their leadership
potentials, thus increasing their self-confidence and widen their personal
growth. Students who join the Scheme are provided with a series of leadership
skills training and will be guided to become the student representatives of the
College to promote the image and mission of the College. They are also
encouraged to serve the community by applying their professional knowledge and
skills.
StudentNET
StudentNET —
Diploma, Pre-AD, Higher Diploma and AD students have their own StudentNET
(Networking Group) which is formed by a group of student representatives who
will plan and organize social and educational activities for their fellows from
respective programmes, e.g. welcoming parties, Christmas parties, ball games and
self-study campaign, etc. Students are welcome to join the tailor-made
activities organized by their respective programmes’ StudentNET. It is hoped to
cultivate a sense of belongings and to enrich the campus life of students.
Co-curricular Activities
Students
can participate in a wide-range of co-curricular activities provided by the
College such as the articulation seminar, workshops on study skills and time
management, ball games day, singing contest, sports day and graduation dinner,
etc.
