The Postgraduate Diploma in Liberal Studies (PDLS) programme at Lingnan was launched in September 2005. It is a part-time one-year programme specifically designed for secondary school teachers who are interested in the new Liberal Studies curriculum, including its subject matter and themes, as well as its pedagogical concerns. The programme also represents an innovative attempt by the Department of Cultural Studies at Lingnan University to offer an interactive learning and teaching experiences that are pleasurable and self-fulfilling for its participants.

嶺南大學文化研究系於二零零五年九月首次開辦的一年兼讀制「通識教育學士後文憑」課程，是一個為在職中學老師提供的培訓課程，旨在讓老師更了解新通識教育科的內容和教學法，同時也嘗試以新形式的教與學設計讓老師能愉快和自信地學習。
