Students will also have the opportunity to spend part of their study in an overseas university. Eligible students may apply to study a partner institution included in the University 's Student International Exchange programme (SIEP) and Chinese Mainland Student Exchange programme (LCMSEP).  Selection will be based on the applicants' academic results, social and cultural awareness, as well as proficiency in English.

2000-2001: Five of our Majors students spent a semester in a Liberal Arts University in North America.

2001-2002: Five of our Majors joined the SIEP in Spring 2001 and spent the term in various North American universities. Two were selected in Spring 2002 and went to the UK. Three have been selected in the Fall of 2002 to spend the semester in the US.

2002-2003: Two of our Majors joined the SIEP in Fall 2002; another three did so in Spring 2003. They went to various American universities and respectively spent one semester there.

2003-2004: Two of our Majors joined the SIEP in Fall 2003; another two did so in Spring 2004. They went to various countries such as UK/Taiwan/Australian/American universities and respectively spent one semester there.

2004-2005: Three of our Majors joined the SIEP in Fall 2004; another three did so in Spring 2004. They went to various countries such as UK/Taiwan/Australian/American universities and respectively spent one semester there.

2005-2006: 2 of our Majors joined the SIEP in Fall 2005; another 3 did so in Spring 2006. Besides, 2 also joined the LCMSEP in Fall 2005; another 1 did so in Spring 2006.  They went to various countries such as UK/American/Mexico/Denmark/ Canada/ Shanghai/Shangdong universities and respectively spent one semester there.

2006-2007: 8 of our Majors joined the SIEP and another 4 joined the LCMSEP. They went to various countries such as UK/Denmark/ American/ Mexico/Thailand Korea/Beijing/Zhejiang universities and respectively spent one semester there.
