In view of the increasing demand for graduates with a strong and broad base in cultural knowledge relevant to contemporary changes worldwide, Cultural Studies helps students to develop a variety of skills in critical writing and judgement, media and textual analysis, creative thinking, cross-cultural communication, cultural planning and management, etc.

Socio-political understanding, literary and media sensitivity, as well as an acute sense of historical consciousness are emphasized throughout the programme.
