Course Description:
The objectives of this course are to provide students with a solid knowledge of how commercial banks and different types of financial institutions are managed and to help students understand the nature and roles of the concerned financial institutions in the financial system.  Topics like the regulations, organization and operations of banks and financial institutions, the management of asset and liability, liquidity risk, capital risk, interest rate risk and credit risk will be discussed.
