Biography:

Ping Lin is Professor at the Department of Economics, Lingnan University of Hong Kong. He is also a research fellow at the Center for Public Policy Studies at Lingnan. Ping Lin earned his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Minnesota in 1993, taught at Southern Methodist University, and has been at Lingnan since 1997. His research interests are centered on industrial organization, the economics of innovation, and competition policy. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Industrial Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Review of Industrial Organization, European Economic Review, Canadian Journal of Economics, and other economic journals. He teaches courses on industrial organization, microeconomics, competition policy, and government regulation.
