Lingnan University conferred Honorary Fellowship on six outstanding individuals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to both the community at large and to the University on 13 June. The Council Chairman of Lingnan University, Dr. the Hon. LEUNG Chun-ying, the President of the University, Prof. Edward CHEN, the Deputy Council Chairman, the Hon. CHAN Bernard Charnwut and the Treasurer of the Council, Mr. YEUNG Kai-cheung, Patrick were present at the ceremony. It is the first time the University conferred honorary fellowship on distinguished persons in recognition of their outstanding achievements. The recipients of the Lingnan University Honorary Fellowship 2004-05 are (in alphabetical order): Mr. CHAN Keung, Mr. Valiant CHEUNG Kin-piu, Prof. Joseph LAU Shiu-ming, Mrs. Mona LEONG Wong Man-suen, Mr. Michael LEUNG Kai-hung and Mr. Selwyn MAR.

嶺南大學已於6月13日頒授榮譽院士銜予六位傑出人士，以表揚他們在學術、社會公益事務，以及教育發展等範疇上取得的卓越成就。榮譽院士頒授典禮由嶺大校董會主席梁振英博士主持，其他主禮嘉賓包括︰嶺大校長陳坤耀教授、嶺大校董會副主席陳智思議員太平紳士及嶺大校董會司庫楊佳錩先生。2004-05年度嶺大榮譽院士得主包括 (依英文姓名排序)︰陳強先生、張建標先生、劉紹銘教授、梁黃文璿女士、梁啟雄先生及馬紹援先生。
