  Travel inside Hangzhou

The most convenient and money saving way to travel inside Hangzhou is bus due to its extensive bus network, provided that you are able to read Chinese. If not, metered taxi is quick and convenient. Taxi fare is based on mileages according to the meter. The starting price is RMB10.

Yuan Renminbi (Y) is the local currency. Bills come in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 yuan and coins come in denominations of 1 yuan, 5 mao, 1 mao and 5 fen.
