The CULTURAL TOURISM IN HONG KONG Workshop

A research project undertaking the first detailed exploration of tourism and culture in Hong Kong. Exploring the constraints and possibilities of the cultural practices involved in tourism, the project is also examining the cultural mediators involved in tourism considered as a set of cultural policies and institutions. By linking with local organizations the workshop aims to create a “cultural tourism” development platform including alternative community tours, training workshops for tour guides, and   publications on cultural tourism.
