CBT Rules, User Guides & Procedures

Registration Rules

  1. Only Lingnan University staff or students are allow to register.
  2. The successful registered user can login to the CBT application with their new CBT account 2 business days after their registration.
  3. The access period is 30 days from your first day registration of the CBT account. After 30 days, Your CBT account will be automatically deactivated.
  4. The CBT can be used within Lingnan University only.

User Registration Procedures for CBT

  1. For registration, please go to http://www.ln.edu.hk/itsc/desktop/ilp/cbtcourse to select the CBT course you wish to learn.
  2. Click the "Register" icon for registration.
  3. Login with your Lingnan user account in the online registration page.
  4. Select the CBT course, and click "submit".

Procedure for Missing CBT Login Name or Password

  1. If you login with the incorrect login name or password, you will be redirected to the LearnKeyTM official website.  Please DO NOT use the "forgot your password" function in LearnKeyTM official website.
  2. Please send request for resetting CBT password email to itsc@ln.edu.hk, ITSC will reset your password and send it back to you via email within 2 working days.

Startup Procedure for Using the CBT

  1. If you have successfully registered the CBT training, you should receive a Lingnan CBT account (e.g. cbt001@ln.edu.hk), please go to http://www.ln.edu.hk/itsc/desktop/ilp/studentlogin to login your CBT account.
  2. After successful login, please select the course you want to learn.
  3. Select the session and the learning mode (e.g. Outlook 2007 Session 1) to begin the training.
