The appointee will be mainly responsible for (a) assisting the Director and/or Research Development Officer/the delegated person in coordinating research projects, and in preparing research proposals and reports; (b) conducting researches; (c) providing assistance in matters relating to service-learning projects / researches, publications and teaching development; and (d) liaising with internal and external parties. The appointee is also required to perform some administrative duties and other duties as assigned by the Director and Research Development Officer.
Applicants should have (i) a relevant postgraduate qualification (preferably major in social research) with proficiency in using SPSS or statistical software; (ii) at least 3 years’ experience in programme or activities operation involving elderly people and children; (iii) substantial work experience in supervising a small team of staff, self-directed and motivated; (iv) good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; and (v) good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Preference will be given to candidates with journal editing, ageing research and or service learning experience.

Salary and Benefits:
The monthly salary will be around HK$19,900.- to HK$28,000.-. Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
