Senior Project Officer/Project Officer
Office of Service-Learning
(Post Ref.: 10/21/W)
 
The appointee will assist in (i) organizing and implementing Service-Learning projects; (ii) coordinating the organization of workshops and seminars; (iii) designing promotional materials and maintaining the web-site, etc.; (iv) liaising with other community partners/business sectors; (v) drafting proposals, reports and minutes; and (vi) facilitating the daily operations of the Office. For the post of Senior Project Officer, the appointee have to lead the projects independently and is also responsible for handling budgeting, research and publication matters and supervision of staff.

Requirements: (a) a recognized degree (preferably in Social Sciences/with a postgraduate degree) or equivalent qualifications; (b) good knowledge of common computer software (e.g. MS Office, SPSS, Chinese typing), database management, and web-page design and maintenance; (c) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (d) good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; (e) a good team player and willing to learn; (f) self-disciplined; and (g) an interest in general education. Applicants for the Senior Project Officer post should have three or more years in supervision or relevant work experience with the community, and be proactive and a good planner.

Salary and Benefits: The appointment will be made according to the appointee’s qualifications and experience: (a) Senior Project Officer (around HK$19,800.- to HK$27,900.-) or (b) Project Officer (around HK$12,300.- to HK$19,800.-). Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
