Professional training for teachers from Shenzhen City College

In line with the strategic direction of the University to reach out to Mainland China and the international community for providing professional training, the Division of Graduate Studies of Lingnan University and the Inter-University Research Consortium for Higher Education organised a professional training programme for a group of high school teachers and managers from Shenzhen City College from 28 to 29 March.

 

Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President and Lam Man Tsan Chair Professor of Comparative Policy, Dr Li Donghui, Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs), Prof Siu Oi-ling, Professor and Head of Department of Applied Psychology, Dr Albert Ko Wing-yin, Associate Director of Office of Service-Learning of Lingnan University, as well as Mr Titan Ngan Ying-kit, College Lecturer of Community College at Lingnan University shared with the delegates the University’s experience in liberal arts education from the perspectives of curriculum design and the holistic approach in promoting whole-person development.

 

During the visit, Ms Cherry Zhang, Director, Division of International Collaboration, Shenzhen City College further discussed with Prof Mok to deepen the collaboration of professional training and taught master programmes offered by Lingnan University for teachers and principals from Shenzhen.
