Lingnan students won awards in innovation and entrepreneurship competition

Three Lingnan student teams won awards in the “Challenge Cup” National Competition - Hong Kong Regional Final, Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2017.  Organised by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association, the competition aims to increase students’ interest and competence in innovation and entrepreneurship, and help nurture young talents in innovation and entrepreneurship in Hong Kong.

 

The team consisting of Cui Baoqi (Accounting Year 4), Yang Yihan (Accounting Year 4), Yuen Kam-oi (Accounting Year 4) and Hu Yuwen (Finance Year 3) won the Third Prize in the “Entrepreneurship Proposal” division of the competition’s “Entrepreneurship Category” with their project “Organic Moving Greenfield”.  Another team formed by Lam Sin (Finance Year 3), Chung Wing-yan (Marketing Year 3) and Tang Haibin (Economics Year 3) won the Third Prize in the same division with their project entitled “Tinyswap”.  The third team formed by Ng Wing-yi (Human Resource Management Year 2), Sin Ka-ki (Finance Year 2) and Yip Shan-shan (Marketing Year 3) was awarded the Merit Prize in the “Social Enterprise” division with their project “SmogInk”.

 

The award presentation ceremony was held on May 23.  Congratulations to the students for their outstanding achievements!
