Faculty of Business and Hertford College of the University of Oxford co-organises advanced business programme

Co-organised by the Faculty of Business of Lingnan University and Hertford College of the University of Oxford, the “Two-Week Advanced Business Programme” was held from 2 to 15 July at the University of Oxford.  Twelve Lingnan BBA undergraduate students were sponsored by the Faculty to join the programme.

 

The programme aims to enhance students’ understanding of different business models and theories, as well as the British economy, social development and culture.  Students attended classes and delivered presentations on various business and cultural topics and enjoyed the opportunities to interact and exchange ideas with experienced teachers at Oxford.  Apart from classroom learning, the students visited two famous landmarks of Blenheim Palace and Cotswolds in Southern England when their knowledge on the British history and tradition was enriched.  Through a wide range of educational and cultural activities, participants were able to experience life as an Oxford student and interact with local students.

 

Integrating business knowledge and cultural insights, the study tour broughtfruitful learning experience to the participants who had their international horizons widely expanded.
