HRM351 Management of Innovation and Change
(Prerequisite: BUS202 Organisational Behaviour
or other relevant course approved by the Head of the Department of Management)
This course provides students with principles for diagnosing, understanding and implementing organizational change, which may range in scale from 'fine tuning' to transformation, and for developing innovative organizations. The course emphasizes the strategic role of Human Resource Management in signalling, driving and supporting structural and cultural change, in creating climates of creativity suitable for the implementation of innovation strategies, and in moving towards the ideals of the 'learning organisation'.
