Major in Human Resource Management

The inclusion of this stream stems from the belief that every manager is essentially a human resource manager.  Most managerial posts require the manager to interact with and supervise people.  Therefore, it is important for modern business executives to understand that business decisions have human implications, and that it is the human aspect of business issues which consistently requires the greatest managerial attention.  The business community of Hong Kong is currently experiencing high staff turnover and a shortage of qualified applicants, particularly for the junior posts.  It is an increasingly held view in Hong Kong that good Human Resource Management is the key to addressing those problems.  Because of this, it is essential that the Hong Kong business community is provided with graduates in business who are committed to the effective management of human resources and are capable of making the decisions necessary to bring this about.
