Minor in Human Resource Management

For BBA* students (2003-4 intake and before) who are not in Human Resource Management (HRM) Stream:

Students are required to complete two required and three elective courses (15 credits) from the list below.

For Non-BBA students
:

Students are required to complete five courses (15 credits). In addition to taking the two required HRM courses, they can either select
(a) any three of the elective courses
OR
(b) two elective courses (excluding BUS202 Organisational Behaviour) plus one of the relevant courses listed below.

With a view to limiting the extent of double counting of courses, a student can be exempted from taking a maximum of one course of 3 credits in fulfilling his/her Minor Programme requirements, on the basis of completion of the course(s) offered by the University.

*Note:

BBA students from the 2004-5 intake and thereafter can no longer take minor programmes in business disciplines. They can choose to take a 'Supporting Specialisation' in HRM to enrich their business knowledge in the discipline.
