Minor in Marketing

All non-BBA students who wish to pursue the Minor in Marketing are required to complete 15 credits (5 courses) listed below to fulfill the requirements of this Minor:


Required Course (1 course, 3 credits)
BUS205 - Marketing Management

Elective Courses (4 courses, 12 credits)
Any FOUR elective courses at 200- or 300- levels with the MKT letter code excluding any courses that are also offered as General Education Courses (i.e. MKT213 -Entrepreneurship, MKT247 - China as a Business and Consumer Society, MKT252- Consumer Culture and Values, MKT254 - To care About Our Society - Social Marketing and MKT255 - Innovation in Practice)

With a view to limiting the extent of double counting of courses, a student can be exempted from taking a maximum of one course of 3 credits in fulfilling his/her minor programme requirements, on the basis of completion of the course(s) offered by the University.

* Students who have successfully completed either SSC107- Research Methods in Social Science or GEB205/PHI205 - Business Ethics can be EXEMPTED from taking one elective course of 3 credits.
