Lingnan University New Student Orientation 2010/2011

Lingnan University (the University) held the new student orientation for the 2010/2011 academic year on 24 August 2010. The 3-day orientation camp enabled new students to familiarize and integrate into campus life. At the welcome ceremony, President Chan Yuk-Shee said that as a liberal arts university, the University is characterized by a small student body of around 2,400. The scale is ideal in nurturing close relationships among teachers, students and alumni, thus making campus life at the University like a big family. 

Activities of the new student orientation camp included talks, high table dinner, training on dining etiquette. In addition, fitness test was introduced this year to help new students gain understanding of their fitness level and encourage them to improve their health through exercises for a happy campus life.
