Professional Training for Higher Education Leaders from Mainland China

24 Oct 2016

With strong commitment in promoting higher education policy and governance research and knowledge transfer, Lingnan University has partnered with over 10 leading universities in establishing the world’s largest higher education research centre, UCL Institute of Education Centre for Global Higher Education, based in London, in February 2016. Believing knowledge transfer as core business to research and development, Lingnan University has actively engaged in professional training for higher education leaders.

Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice President and Chair Professor of Comparative Policy of Lingnan University, collaborated with City University of Hong Kong by providing professional training for a delegation of higher education leaders from Zhejiang Province of Mainland China in October 2016. During the professional sharing, Prof Mok shared his research findings and professional experiences in higher education governance, particularly focusing on how universities are governed and managed in Hong Kong.

After visiting Lingnan University and engaging in the professional sharing sessions, the delegation from China was very much impressed by the liberal arts education and whole-person development offered by Lingnan University.
