Office of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs
The Office of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs is responsible for managing the institutional development and public affairs functions of the University. It consists of the Alumni Relations Team, Development Team, Public Affairs Team and Publications Team:
- The Alumni Relations Team is responsible for producing publications (e.g. Connection) for the alumni; organizing events and activities for the alumni; and working with departments and maintaining contacts with the alumni associations and organizations.
- The Development Team is responsible for planning and organizing fundraising programmes and activities; identifying and contacting the donors including major donors; and organizing recognition ceremonies for the donors.
- The Public Affairs Team is responsible for promoting the branding and image of Lingnan University; organizing public affairs activities and communication programmes; receiving visitors and organizing programmes for the visitors; organizing press conferences and events for publicity; and maintaining contacts with the media.
- The Publications Team is responsible for producing publications (e.g. Bulletin, Chronicle, and Annual Report) and online information (e.g. corporate video) to communicate the latest developments of Lingnan University and raise its academic and social profile.
