Lingnan Team Ranked Top in the Providence Foundation Outward Bound Training Awards 2008/2009

Lingnan students joined hands to face various outward bound challenges.

 

A team comprising fifteen students from Lingnan University came in first among eight local tertiary institutions in the Providence Foundation Outward Bound Training Awards 2008/2009. The training course, organized by Outward Bound Hong Kong and sponsored by Providence Foundation, included a 7-day leadership training programme which aimed at helping students to unleash their full potentials as well as to develop team spirit and leadership skills.

Under the guidance of professional instructors, the students had to overcome various challenges in the great outdoors. Assessment of the performance of each institution was based on the quality of the proposal and report submitted. Members of the winning Lingnan team were:
