Sharing from Buddies

It is a really good programme for me to develop a good relationship with my Buddy partner. Through the role of ambassador in the Buddies scheme, I can help giving a warm environment to the exchange students so that they would not feel helpless and being isolated. I enjoy having lunch and sharing with my Buddy partner so much! I am happy that my Buddy partner and I would give support to one another when we prepared for examinations or felt sad.

Tiffany Man, Year 2 Social Sciences Major, Buddy in Fall 2006 and Spring 2007

The Buddies Scheme enhances my communication skills and increases my confidence to know more people. By interacting with the non-local students, I get to know more about the world!

Fusina Fong, Year 3 Contemporary English Studies Major, Buddy in Fall 2006 and Spring 2007

We (my Buddy partner and me) share our experience in the daily life and even some personal matters. We are just like sisters.

Iris Chan. Year 3, Marketing Major, Buddy in Fall 2006

I enjoy being with the non-local students. For those from the Mainland, we always compare the difference between Hong Kong and the Mainland; And for the international students, it is really amazing to see how they appreciate our culture.

Sofia Chung, Year 3 Contemporary English Studies Major, Buddy in Fall 2006 and Spring 2007
