Transportation (From Lingnan University to the Other Places in Hong Kong)

The public buses, Light Rail and West Rail of the Mass Transit Railway (M.T.R.) Corporation Limited provide transportation around the campus.

Mini-buses

The green mini-buses provide service from the University to Tuen Mun Town Centre (where you shop for clothes and go for entertainments). The air-conditioned mini-bus comes at frequent intervals, and costs HK$4 per trip. The green bus-stops are located right next to the public bus stop near the front entrance, as well as the south entrance of the University.

The red mini-buses can take you to Tsuen Wan, Mongkok and Yaumatei, but the cost per trip is higher since the fares are not regulated. Normally, it will cost HK$16 to get to Mongkok. If you want to take the red mini-bus, you need to know the area and it helps to be able to speak Cantonese.
