Application Procedures

Step 1

To learn more about the Student Exchange Programmes offered in Lingnan by participating in the coming Student Exchange Programmes Prelude (交換學生計劃巡禮) from 23 September to 24 October 2008. Consider your option and identify those programmes that fit in with your study plan, interest and budget.

Arrange your schedule to sit for the language requirement test(s) as soon as possible.

 

Step 2

Submit a completed Student Exchange Programmes Application Form together with an essay and recommendation from a faculty member to OMIP during the application period from 1 October to 31 October 2008.

IMPORTANT: Prior to completing the application forms, please take sufficient time to go through the catalogs (calendars) and other information (e.g. evaluations of returned participants) of host institutions available in the Office of Mainland and International Programmes. You should also study the most updated information available on the websites of host institutions.

It would be a good idea to discuss your intention to participate in the Exchange Programmes with your Head of Department, Programme Director, and/or Academic Advisor, and consult them on the selection of courses.

Note: Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

 

Step 3

Prepare yourself for interviews to be held between mid to late November 2008.

 

Step 4

Submit your TOEFL or IELTS score report by 12 January 2009 if you apply for International Exchange Programme.

 

Step 5

Application result will be released by late January 2009.
