What are International Exchange Programme (IEP) and Mainland Exchange Programme (MEP)?

With a mission of becoming a world-class liberal arts institution, Lingnan University aims at promoting interaction and exchange with other institutions of higher learning throughout the world. The University has set up the International Exchange Programme (IEP) and Mainland Exchange Programme (MEP) offering students a valuable opportunity to "Engage the World” and to study in our partner institutions in overseas countries or the Mainland China We believe that students of the 21st century should have an international outlook and exposure and be able to analyze problems from a cross-cultural perspective.

We are glad to inform you that the Student Exchange Programmes Prelude for 2009-10 will be held from late September to late October 2008. Do attend our briefing sessions to learn more about the programmes!

Programme Duration

Both IEP and MEP offer you the opportunity for a one-term/semester study exchange at one of our partner institutions overseas or in the Mainland China.

 

ACUCA Student Mobility Scheme

ACUCA is the acronym for the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia. The ACUCA Student Mobility Scheme aims to foster a better understanding of Asian communities and cultures among students from ACUCA member institutions. Lingnan University is a member of the ACUCA.

Lingnan students are welcome to apply for study abroad (for one term/semester), at one of the Scheme participating institutions in Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand.

You will continue to pay tuition at Lingnan, whilst accommodation at the host institution.

You will be responsible for all personal expenses, e.g. local transportation, books, medical insurance, etc
