Responsibilities of Outgoing Exchange Participants

Before going out for exchange, you are required to

1. prepare your study plan

2. attend pre-departure briefing

in the hope of providing you with a clear overview of exchange and so getting yourself ready for the immersion.

For scholarship recipents, in addition to the above requirements, you need to attend training sessions.

 

Prepare Your Study Plan

Once you are selected for the exchange programmes, to assist you in preparing for the study plan, you and all the other participants will be required to attend a briefing. The briefing will last about an hour.

 

Pre-departure Briefing

The briefing sessions provide you with more pre-departure preparation tips such as reminders for filling out application forms required by the host insitutions, hostel arrangements, cultural adjustments, etc.

 

Training Sessions (For scholarship recipients)

Apart from the briefing sessions, scholarship recipients need to join the training sessions during which you can build up your self-confidence, establish friendship with different people, and more importantly, get yourself more culturally and psychologically prepared for exchange through participation of adventure and team-building games.
