In Hong Kong, Lingnan University is the first tertiary institution to run a Service-Learning Research Scheme (SLRS). Through joining SLRS, students not only can apply their academic knowledge to serve the community, but also create their own learning profiles.
Office of Service-Learning (OSL) is going to establish ‘Service-Learning Alumni Club’ in 2010, and it aims to:
• Gather students who had joined a service-learning program since 2004;
• Provide members a platform to serve community and keep contributing to society;
• Update news and events from Office of Service-Learning;
Structure of Service-Learning Alumni Club

S-L Alumni Club Advisory Board
Our Service-Learning Alumni Club Advisory Board is formed by 2 to 3 Office of Service-Learning Staff. The roles for Advisory Board are mainly to facilitate, or act as a mentor and advisor for the Alumni Club.
S-L Alumni Club Committee
The Service-Learning Alumni Club Committee will be formed by 6 to 8 Office of Service-Learning Alumni.
• Role:coordinate the routine work, membership affair, organize and promote Alumni activities
• First established Committee will include 6-8 members, their tasks are as following:
