Citizen's Responsibilitiy Education through Service-Learning:
A Village Adoption Project in Yunnan

OSL and Deloitte China are jointly running this 3-year based programme from 2007 to 2010,
which aims to pilot and develop a model for the sustainable development of a rural community
in China through academic research, corporate social responsibility and voluntary services.

Objective:
¡@- Supporting rural sustainable development
¡@- Promoting to all participants(Students and Staff) the concept and spirit of learning to serve and serving to learn

Key Deliverables for each year:
¡@- 1st year: consultation to identify the exact needs of the village community in the next three years, as well as a focus
¡@ ¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@on improving education facilities
¡@- 2nd year: to enhance public health through preventive healthcare education and facilities improvement
¡@- 3rd year: to help identify and establish sustainable micro-economic programmes in the village
