Organised by the Hong Kong Rowing Association four times annually, the Verdant River Regatta and Shing Mun River Regatta attracts rowers from the eight local universities every year. The last of the 2008 competitions were held recently. Lingnan University's Rowing Team excelled in these competitions with outstanding results.
