First-timer Won Speech Prize


CHEUNG Chi-ho, Brain, Business Administration Year 2 student, won the Outstanding Prize in the AIA Quest for the Champion Communicator Contest 2009.

 CHEUNG Chi-ho, Brian (left), received his prize from the organiser. Cheung had to compete with nine other finalists from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Macau. Each contestant had to give three speeches on economics, finance and law.

Being a member of Lingnan University’s Toastmasters Club and MC in various university events, Cheung is experienced in public speaking. As a Business Administration major, he has had a solid foundation in economics and finance. Together with the help from Ms CHEN Hua-ling, Senior Language Instructor of Chinese Language Education and Assessment Centre, to improve his pronunciation and presentation skills in Putonghua, Cheung won the Outstanding Prize with two students from City University of Hong Kong and Macau University, after the top three winners of the contest.
