Business Programmes Office (BPO)
Business programmes at Lingnan are supported by five Departments: Accountancy, Computing and Decision Sciences, Finance and Insurance, Management, Marketing and International Business. At the undergraduate level, Lingnan offers BBA (Hons) Programme which consists of six streams, namely Accounting, Finance, General Business Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Risk and Insurance Management.
At the graduate level, the Faculty of Business offers an MPhil research degree programme. Regarding our Research Degree Programme (MPhil), it covers extensive areas of study including China Business, Chinese Financial Market, Comparative Aspects of International Business, Consumer Behaviour, Cross-cultural Consumer and Behaviour Studies, Empirical Aspects of Accounting, Human Resource Management, Information System and Computer Science, Investment and Financial Institutions, Leadership and Teamwork, Logistics and Decision Sciences, Organisational Behaviour, Risk and Insurance, Strategic Issues in Marketing, Small Business Management, Strategic Management, and Taxation and Auditing.
Individual departments offer postgraduate programme in specialist areas. The Department of Accountancy offers Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (PGDA) Programmes. In September 2010, the Department of Management launched a full-time mode MSc in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour (HRM &OB) Programme.
The Business Programmes Office (BPO) plays a major role in coordinating programme-related matters such as admission, course offerings, registration, examinations, etc.
