Padmore received his PhD from the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He also holds an MPhil. in Development Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

 

His research is interdisciplinary as it aims to expand knowledge on the multidimensional aspects of social determinants of health and well-being. Padmore’s research lies at the intersection of social policy, health sociology, psychological well-being, and public health. The target populations of his research include children, older persons, students, and migrants.

 

He received one of Lingnan University’s Young Researcher Output Awards in 2021. Padmore is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Asian Public Policy.
