COLLABORATION OF RESEARCH POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

To enhance the opportunities for research postgraduate students to have access to courses and expertise at sister institutions in Hong Kong, the seven universities that are offering research postgraduate programmes entered an agreement to set up mechanisms enabling research postgraduate students to enroll in courses offered by other sister institutions from 2003-04.

The participating institutions are :

City University of Hong Kong

Hong Kong Baptist University

Lingnan University

The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

The University of Hong Kong

Guidance for Lingnan Research Postgraduate Students on Course Taking

List of Courses offered by Lingnan University  for Term 1, 2010-11 for Research Postgraduate Students

Application for Taking Course(s) offered by Lingnan University by Research Postgraduate Students

1. Research postgraduate students of other UGC-funded universities who wish to take courses offered by Lingnan University should complete the prescribed form. (Lingnan students who wish to take courses of other universities, please also use this form.)
2. Lingnan students who wish to take courses offered by Lingnan should complete another application form.
3. The endorsed form should reach the Registry of Lingnan University on or before 16 August 2010 (Monday) via the home institution.
4. Undergraduate classes begin on 1 September 2010 and are conducted in Lingnan University campus in Tuen Mun. Detailed class timetable is now available in the Registry's website. Details for postgraduate courses are available in the Course List above.
5. The deadline for adding and dropping a course is 7 September 2010.
