Dr Chan graduated from Hong Kong University and Oxford University and joined Lingnan University in 1997. Her research interests include Hong Kong culture, gender studies, women’s employment and family issues. Watching TV is one of her great passions, followed by net-surfing, music, bread-making, running and tennis.
