Certificate of Awards and Participation (CAP)

Complementing to the academic transcript, you are encouraged to build up your own portfolio during your study in the University. The Certificate of Awards and Participation (CAP) serves in recognition and keeps track your record of non-academic achievement and contribution in the University. Besides, it also shows the records of your attendance in the Integrated Learning Programme (ILP).

 

CAP shows the following records:

1.      ILP courses

2.      Awards

a.       Participation in cultural and sports activities leading to University recognized external awards;

b.      Student leadership development and exchange programmes in the capacity of representatives of the University;

c.       Outstanding services;

d.      Training courses and programmes in the capacity of representatives of the University.

 

3.      Contributions to the University

a.       Office-bearers of the recognized student bodies and members of University Teams;

b.      Organizers of recognized major campus events;

c.       Representation in Universityˇ¦s Committees / Working Groups / Panels;

d.      Student Ambassadors in Universityˇ¦s functions.

 

4.       Fulfillment in Awards Presentation Ceremony and Sports Day

All full-time undergraduate students are required to attend the Awards Presentation Ceremony (or the Honorary Fellowship Presentation Ceremony) and the Sports Day at least once during the course of study at the University. Attendance at these events will be shown on the CAP as ˇ§Fulfilledˇ¨ or ˇ§Not Fulfilledˇ¨.

 

You are encouraged to actively take part in extra-curricular activities at the University to build up your portfolio.
