Each block is supervised by a warden, a senior tutor and four tutors. The Warden will be responsible for a range of pastoral functions which include: care for the welfare of individual residents, the creation and maintenance of conditions conducive to their intellectual, social and cultural growth, the encouragement of a sense of community among hostel members.

Warden
Warden is the overall in-charge of the student hostel. He/ she is responsible for the safety and well-being of 250 residents in one of the six blocks of the student hostels on campus, the management and supervision of the day to day operation of residence units and the creation and maintenance of a quality of life consistent with the educational, development and moral goals of the University. The Warden also works closely with the Student Services Centre in the administrative functions and programming of the hostel life. A Warden is assisted by a team of hostel tutors.

Hostel Senior Tutors
Hostel Senior Tutors are full time staff members of the University who lives and works in residence. The Senior Tutor is to assist the warden in managing the day to day operation of residence units and the creation and maintenance of a quality life consistent with the educational, development and moral goals of the University. The Senior Tutor also works closely with the Student Services Centre in the administrative functions and programming of the hostel life.

Hostel Tutors
Hostel Tutors are full-time postgraduate students, University staff members or graduates who live and work/study in residence. Hostel Tutors would get to know the residential students, conducting informal group discussion with them, and giving them general advice individually or collectively as determined by the Wardens. They will act as duty tutors of the day on a roster basis.
