1. Publicity

Pre-event publicity: 2 weeks* before
event on emails and website

Students will be informed of the
assembly topic, speaker and contents.

2. Registration Requirement

Pre-event registration in any assembly
session by students is mandatory.

Subsequent attendance in a session would
only be recognized for documentation purpose if it has been
registered prior to the event. In other words, the pre-registration
record must match with the attendance record for the session(s) to
be counted for the ILP.

3. Registration Procedures

SSC would facilitate students in making
on-line registration session by session for interested University
Assembly sessions. This will be done by on-line registration on the
web by students at least 2 weeks* prior to the event.

Deadline for registration will be 1
week* before the event.

Registration record will be posted on
web for studentsˇ¦ information after the deadline for registration.
4. Attendance slip will be distributed at the entries before the
commencement of Assemblies.

5. Students wishing to have their attendance recorded will be
guided to fill in the attendance slip by the MC.

6. Attendance slip will be collected at the exit by the end of the
Assemblies.

7. Attendance record posted on web for studentsˇ¦ information and
verification in the week* following the Assembly.

8. Student not satisfied with the
attendance record may put forward within one week after the posting of
attendance record on web their case which
will be considered
by the SSC. The SSC decision on this matter will be final.

9.Revised list reflecting the outcome of appeals will be posted together
with the attendance record of the following Assembly session.
