Biography

Dr. William Tay, Professor Emeritus of the University of California, San Diego and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, is the author, translator, and editor of more than thirty titles in literary theory, cultural criticism, and Hong Kong literature.

A member of the editorial committees of various international journals, he is also the president of INK, a monthly that has garnered five Golden Tripods in Taiwan.
