Re:Imagine Flea Market

Co-organized by Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative (LEI) and Office of Student Affairs (OSA), and supported by the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business, and Faculty of Social Sciences, Re: Imagine Flea Market provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity to the Lingnan community. Featuring approximately 8 booths, the Re: Imagine Flea Market was held on January 17, at Kin Sun Square.
The flea market was geared towards cultivating the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among Lingnanians to showcase entrepreneurs' start-ups and social enterprises. Student vendors and crafters had an opportunity to sell their sophisticated handcrafts products, such as embroidery, hand-assembled jewelry, delicious bakeries, and many other unique treats and items. Through the ample support provided by LEI and OSA, Lingnanian embarked on the journey of turning their passions into economically scalable opportunities.
Starting at noon, a series of music performances including musical instruments and popular songs been performed by student performers from the Higher Diploma Programme, Undergraduate Programmes, and Taught Postgraduates Programme attracting students and staff members. Students could stand a chance to win gifts and souvenirs by participating in various games and activities during the event organized by the University Innovation Fellows.
Remarkably, the vast majority of the feedback received from students and participants has been overwhelmingly positive, hoping that the university could organize a meaningful event annually.
