Four Lingnan students awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships

Established by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships – Undergraduate Scholarship” offers full scholarships to outstanding students with strong leadership qualities, academic ability, commendable character and commitment to service.  Recipients of the Scholarships will become JC Scholars and be given various opportunities for learning, personal development and social service.  

 

Four second-year students of Lingnan University were awarded The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships - Undergraduate Scholarship in the 2018-19 academic year: Dai Mengyao (Finance), Nice Mak Yee-yan (Translation), Pang Wing-sze (Contemporary English Studies) and Yeung Kong-lung (Economics). 

 

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships Presentation Ceremony cum Graduation Dinner 2019 was held on 4 July 2019. Attendees included Acting President of Lingnan University, Professor Joshua Mok; Acting Director of Student Services, Carman Yau; the four scholarship recipients; and JC Scholar graduates Chu Tsz-hei (History), Fong Ka-man (Translation), Ho Wai-man (Psychology) and Wong Tsing-sum (Psychology).
