General Notes to Applicants

  1. Please read the Instructions for Completing Online Application before you apply.
  2. During the application period, applicants may apply for admission by online application. Duplicate applications for the same programme or application accounts will not be processed.

  3. An online application will only be accepted upon successful payment of the application fee by a Visa or MasterCard credit card; or UnionPay.

  4. Late applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to the availability of places. Late application fee will be charged accordingly.

  5. Unless otherwise specified, please complete the online application in either ENGLISH or CHINESE.

  6. If you create a subsequent application(s) using your login ID, some personal particulars you have provided in the first application will be copied automatically to the subsequent application(s). However, the copying of information takes place only once when a subsequent application is created and the attachments you have uploaded to the first application after submission of application will NOT be copied. This means that any modifications/updates which you subsequently make to the first application will NOT be copied and you will need to upload documents again to support your subsequent application(s). Therefore, please check all details, including all supporting documents, before you submit each application.

  7. Once your application is successfully submitted upon online payment, the programme choice(s) cannot be changed. You can however update your personal details (if necessary), by informing Registry via email ([email protected]).

  8. Registry will send you an email to acknowledge your application. In the email, you will find an application number and a payment reference number. Please quote the application number and your full name in all your future correspondence with the University.

  9. Please read the Notes to Applicants Regarding Personal Information Submitted to the University.

  10. Any false, unclear or misleading information and/or document(s) provided by applicants in their application will disqualify their applications or revoke their admission offers, and any fees paid including down payment or deposit will be forfeited.
