Exchange & FYP - International and practical approaches

Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Contemporary English Studies - Exchange & FYP

Valuable Exchange Opportunity

All Contemporary English Studies students are required to spend one semester in an English-speaking country through the Student Exchange Programmes offered by the Office of Global Education in the second or third year. For this, the University has partner institutions in five continents. Alternatively, students have the option of spending one month in the United Kingdom on an intensive Study Abroad Programme (SAP).

Final year Project

To acquire the fundamental research and problem-solving skills needed for future careers and further academic pursuits, students also undertake a Final Year Project or Independent Research Project. This can either be an academic research project in Literature or Linguistics or a practical project designed to meet a real or perceived community need.
