Overview 简介
The Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Global Economics and Banking is a new self-financed 4-year programme offered by the Department of Economics. Hong Kong is an international financial centre which has been increasingly integrated with the Chinese and global economies. The Programme aims to train more young professionals to meet the emerging manpower needs of the banking and finance sector especially in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. The main thrust of the Programme lies in its design as a broad-based and internationally oriented programme attuned to the fast-changing world of international economics and banking.
环球经济与银行社会科学（荣誉）学士（自资） (BSSGEB) 课程是岭南大学经济学系最新开办的四年制本科自资课程。香港作为国际金融中心，其发展越来越融入中国和全球经济。该课程旨在培养更多年轻的专业人才，以满足特别在香港和大湾区的银行和金融界的人才需求。课程的主要目标在于将其设计为一个广阔多元兼具国际视野，以适应快速变化的国际经济和银行业世界的专业学科。

Upon completion of the Programme, graduates should be able to demonstrate competencies and skills required for pursuing a career or further study in a related field as a competitive candidate in the banking and finance industries.
