Tightening campus access control

In light of the latest development in the Omicron variant outbreak in Hong Kong, the University has decided to strengthen campus access control measures and will only open the campus to current LU staff, students and registered guests starting from Friday 7 January 2022.
 
To enter the campus between 7 January and 13 January 2022, students and staff are required to present their valid student/staff cards. Invited guests, alumni, team coaches and service contractors are required to make registration in advance via their host departments/offices/units in the Visitor Management System and present the QR codes they received to the security guards at the campus main entrance.
 
From Friday 14 January 2022 onward, students and staff are required to present their Campus Entry Permits, while invited guests, alumni, team coaches and service contractors have to make registration with full vaccination/viral test records via their host departments/offices/units in the Visitor Management System in advance.
 
The University continues to monitor the situation closely and will adopt appropriate measures required to safeguard the wellbeing of the University community.
